What $0 Trip Cost Covers

If you do not need trip cancellation coverage for your trip, you can purchase any of our Worldwide Trip Protector plans at a reduced premium by indicating $0 as your trip cost.

Plans purchased at $0 trip cost offer the same benefits as plans purchased at full trip cost, including Travel Medical and Evacuation, Baggage Delay and Loss, and Trip Delay, with the following differences:

• No Trip Cancellation coverage.
• Trip Interruption coverage per insured traveler is limited to $1000 on our Worldwide Trip Protector Gold plan and $500 on our Worldwide Trip Protector, Trip Protector Lite, and Trip Protector Lite Expanded plans, for return airfare.
• If you need coverage for pre-existing medical conditions, you should insure your trip for the full non-refundable cost instead of opting for $0 trip cost.
